Matai Whetū is located on a quiet private road with around 15 homes. You’ll pass a small village before reaching the property, where family members live and work. The area is safe and peaceful. Guests are welcome to use the driveway and bush path to access the beach. Please note the walk back up is steep. Take a beach pass with you and be aware of occasional driveway traffic.
